In a collectivist culture that strongly upholds moral values and beliefs that stigmatize and marginalize homosexuality, how do Filipino gay men individuate and transform themselves, through self-compassion, that ultimately elevates their visibility and recognition, and cultivates their capacity to heal from the years of oppression that they have been living with? speaking about : Self and Social Transformation through Compassion among Filipino Gay men. |
